Lush Furze

With a chill in the air and short hours of daylight I was craving an uplifting scent. I ventured out to find the bright lights of the city, to photograph this scent that evokes the brightness of summer. 

It’s hours before I go to see one of my favourite artists in Birmingham. Lorde, I hope she gives me a song from her album Solar Power, to compliment my scent of the night - Furze. 

When I wear this scent I imagine the golden grass of late summer - the rich, golden straw when the grass dries out and waves gently in the warm breeze. The scent itself on skin is slightly sweet with a buttery oat like quality, a touch of coconut and subtle almond - notes include mimosa and neroli. 

It might be cold and dark but tonight I get to escape with music, city lights and a scent that reminds me of summer.
